Judith de France

Judith de France (v. 843-870), queen of Wessex then countess of Flanders

It is the girl of Charles the Bald person and Ermentrude of Orleans.

She marries successively:

  • Æthelwulf († 858), King de Wessex on October 1st 856 with Verberie.
  • Æthelbald († 860), king of Wessex in 858, wire of the precedent. Of this second union it had a son:
    • Archibald the Young person
  • Baudouin '' Arm wrestling '', count de Flandre. Although it had been removed from full sound liking by Baudouin Arm wrestling, it was, at the request of the king of France, excommunicated with its kidnapper by a council of bishops. Interceding both near the pope Nicolas I {{er}}, this one gave its agreement to their marriage which took place the December 13rd 863 with Auxerre. They had 2 children:
