University

Before going to the University, Josh spent one year in the Military academy Hargrave de Chatham to Virginia after 4 years to Glenn High School in North Carolina. Howard compiled double-double over all the season with Hargave with 19.9 PPG and 10.1 RdPG, driving Hargrave with the record 27 victories for 3 defeats, while shootant with more than 55% with 2pts, 44% with 3pts and 85% with the charity tosses.

Howard was named in First All-State Selection in its year of senior. It also compiled double-double over all the season with Glenn during its Juniors years and Senior. Howard goes even until carrying out 6 counter by matches and shooter with 70% at the time of its senior year!

Career NCAA

Josh signed in Wake Forest in 1999, because of the proximity of the campus compared to its family. During its first season, Josh played in all the 36 matches by beginning 34 matches as a holder, with 9.1 points of average. Against Duke, it carried out its best match of the season with 19 pts (7/10 with the shooting) including 2/3 with 3pts.

During its Sophomore year, Howard was selected for the Second AlACC Team by playing 29 matches over the season. He became also the leader with 13.6 PPG. Then it gained a place in the 3rd ALACC team and the 2nde team NABC ALL-District. Josh Howard was also named Atlantic Coast Conference Player Of The Year (first since David Thompson in 1975) and carried out Wake Forest in Play Off after a 41 years absence. Josh is also one of the 6 players of the history to cumulate 1500pts, 500rbds, 200asts, 100blks in a career ACC. And the second after Shane Battier to pile up 1000pts, 500rbds, 200 asts, 200 stls, 100 blks and 100 baskets with 3pts. Josh Howrd was named National Player Of The Year by FOX, College Insider and BasketBall Digest. It is also one of the finalist of the John R Wooden Award and the James Naismith award in 2003. J-Ho then compiles 19.5 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 2.1 APG and 1.5BPG in its senior year.

Career NBA

Josh is presented to Draft, it could have been in signal 5 if the draft 2003 were not so profitable (the best since Jordan). But finally it is selected in 29ième position by the team of Dallas Mavericks.

December 12th, 2003, Howard finished with 17 pts and 13rbds, to help Mavericks to gain a match against Los Angeles, the first time since 10 years! With his/her friend rookie Marquis Daniels, Howard finished the season E being selected in Second Team NBA ALL-Rookie even if it missed 13 matches for wounds.

In its second season, Howard left the bench for a few minutes of play, it did not have a very great role. Until Marquis Daniels releases the station of winger because of a wound, which let Howard reach 5 major to compile 12.6ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.5 stg in 32 minutes of play for the season.

The Howard young person progresses and records his best performance on the level of the scoring over one season (15.6 ppg) and 42.9% with 3pts. He was limoté with 59 matches because of wounds.

In at the beginning of 2006, Jerry Colangelo, the owner of the selection of TEAM the USA invited Howard to propose a station in the team to him.
