Joseph-Edmond Fayolle
Joseph-Edmond Fayolle , born the February 16th 1815 with Guéret (Digs), dead the August 30th 1885, is a politician French.
Wire of an adviser of prefecture, it follows studies of right. Receipt as lawyer, it is registered with the bar of its birthplace. Married with the girl of Leyraud, deputy of the liberal opposition, it expresses, under the reign of Louis-Philippe, of the democratic opinions. After the Revolution of February 1848, he is elected general adviser of Hollow the, ordering national guard and, the April 23rd 1848, is appointed the Hollow one with the constituent Assembly, 1st on 7 with 23.225 votes out of 49.820 voters.
Sitting on the left, he votes at the assembly with the moderate republicans. Adversary of the policy of the Prince-President, it is re-elected appointed the Hollow one with the legislative Parliament the May 13rd 1849, 6th and the last of the list with 13.314 votes out of 39.471 voters and 78.014 registered voters. Member of the republican minority, it votes against the Expédition of Rome, the law Falloux-Parein on teaching and the law restricting the vote for all.
Protesting against the Coup d'etat of December 2nd, 1851, it is stopped with the town hall of the 10 {{E}} district and is interned one brief moment with the Mont Valérien, before being released.
Taking again its activities with the bar of Guéret, it is selected like candidate of the democratic opposition in the 1 district of Hollow the May 24th 1869, but it is beaten with 7628 votes against 15.525 votes against Delamarre, the official candidate.
Become mayor of Guéret the September 4th 1870, it is revoked after the resignation of the President of the Republic Adolphe Thiers, the May 24th 1873. At the time of the first senatorial elections of the January 30th 1876, it is elected senator of Hollow with 210 votes out of 328 voters. Sitting on the benches of the Republican left, he votes against the dissolution of the House of Commons by Mac-Mahon, in June 1877. After the victory of the 363, it supports the various opportunist republican ministries .
Re-elected senator the January 30th 1885 with 452 votes out of 616 voters, it dies in August of the same year.
Member of the General advice of Hollow the, he was also the president.
