Jose Pascual de Zayas there Chacón

Jose Pascual de Zayas there Chacón , born with Havana with Cuba in 1772 and died with Chiclana (Province of Cadiz in 1827, is a politician and a Spanish soldier .

It took part in the Guerre of Spanish independence with the rank of general, acquired for his merits. It was made prisoner and taken along to France.

Released in 1814 with the favor of Restoration, it returns to Spain to serve Ferdinand VII.

Liberal, it was appointed with the the Cortes for Havana in 1822. At the time of the monarchical restoration of 1823 following the forwarding of Spain, he decides against the absolutist and in favor of a Constitution, and withdraws army.
