Johnny and The Jailbirds is the name d´un group of Rock English.
History of the group
This group was formed with the end of the year 1973 when Johnny Red moves London with Northamptonshire and answers an advertisement published in a requiring local newspaper of the musicians to form an rock group' Roll which does not sign in 1979 at Charly Records . The career of the group really starts with the arrival of the guitarist and singer Richie Ball. The first album of the group was carried out in 1980 under the title “Out one Lease” which was a great success in England and abroad. The second recording meets same success and will receive echoes favorable in the whole world. On this recording the pieces " Eileen" and " Too Much Wine" will be even classified N°5 with the hit French parade with the beginning of the year four twenties in full vogue rockabilly. After a long bad patch, the group reforms in the year 2000 and carries out a new album Rockin The Blues Away at Pollytone Records.
