Johann Molter Nickel silver
Johann Melchior Molter is a German Compositeur born the February 10th 1696 with Tiefenort (close to Eisenach) and deceased the January 12th 1765 with Karlsruhe.
Initiated with the music by his father, Valentine Molter (professor and cantor with Tiefenort), it discovers the music of Georg Philipp Telemann with the college of Eisenach.
1717: he becomes violonist with the service of the count Carl Wilhelm von Baden-Durlach.
July 12th, 1718, he marries Maria Salome Rollwagen. She will die in 1737.
1719: studies with Venice and Rome.
1723-1749: he becomes Choirmaster at the court of the margrave, the castle of Durlach and the new residence of Karlsruhe. He ensures the musical responsibilities the church, the theater and the room. Within framework it composes of many works.
In October 1738, it is again in Eisenach where it Marie with Maria Christina Wagner.
1741: the vault of the court of Eisenach is dissolved and it goes to Karlsruhe where the changes are positive for him: in 1743, it enters again to the service of the court of Baden-Durlach. It composes of very many parts for a small orchestra which it animates with the college.
In 1746, the count Carl Friedrich decides to reorganize the music of the court and charges it with the project. From 1647 with its death in 1765, it directs the new vault.
