Joey Santiago
Joseph Alberto Santiago , born the June 11th 1965, is an American musician of Filipino origin , guitarist of the groups Pixies and The Martinis.
Joey Santiago was born in Manila with the Filipino and emigrated in Yonkers, New York with old seven years. It passed the majority of its youth to Massachusetts. It was registered in University off Massachusetts Amherst. It meets there Charles Thompson (who will be later known under the pseudonyms of Black Francis then Frank Black), with which it releases all and forms the group of music Pixies in 1986. The group will carry out five albums under the label 4AD before spliter in 1993.
Joey Santiago will make some appearances on the albums solo of Frank Black, then will form with his wife Linda Mallari her own group: The Martinis .
