Joachim Jerome Quiot of the Passage

Joachim Jerome Quiot of the Passage , born the February 9th 1775 with Alixan (Drome) and dead the January 12th 1849, is a Brigadier general and Brigadier French of the Révolution and Empire.

Biography

It made the Campagne of Waterloo. In the first years of the Restoration, it ordered the subdivisions of Drome and the Isere. Raised with the dignity of large Officer of the Legion of Honor, the August 17th 1822, and named Lieutenant-general the July 30th 1823, it obtained the retirement pension in May 1831. Withdrawn in its ground of the Passage, department of Isere, it was during several sessions member of the general advice. He died in Balme, close Grenoble, the January 12th 1850.

The name of the Quiot general is registered on the southern part of the triumphal arch of the Star.
