Biography

Jim Carrey is a Canadian actor. James Eugene Carrey , was born the January 17th 1962 with Newmarket, in the province of Ontario to the Canada. It is known for its pallet of removed from rim characters and the incredible energy which it puts in its roles, which makes of him an actor with whole share.

Its name would be Béarnais, a great number of people bear this family name in Béarn. Jim is the son of Percy Carrey, musician of jazz and Kathleen Carrey. He has two big sisters, Rita and Patricia, and an older brother, John. His/her parents died in the years 1990.

Raise in very pious Blessed Trinity Catholic School, then in Aldershot, it had to stop the school at 15 years to work in order to help its family financially. His/her father will lose his employment in 1976, and will involve his close relations with him until living in a caravan, then under a tent.

Not having thus any diploma, Jim Carrey, knowing his capacities to be made laugh his/her ex-comrades of class, decided to try to be registered in Yuk Yuk Club of Toronto, true reference in the teaching of the comic one. Very constant by his parents, it missed nevertheless his entry and was made request to leave the club as fast as possible. Determined, he retenta his chance two years later, and saw himself this time accommodating cordially. It should be specified that it had been involved hard, by repeating its sketches in front of parents. There will remain two years in Yuk Yuk Club, during which he will improve his removed from rim style.

Once launched professionally, he will marry with Melissa Womer, with which he will have a girl: Jane Erin Carrey (born on September 6th, 1987). Divorced in 1995, it remarie with Lauren Holly (met on the turning of Dumb & Dumber ). They will separate in 1997. His/her current boyfriend is Jenny McCarthy.

The style which it adopts in its comic films evokes that of Jerry Lewis, for which it confesses its admiration besides. Jim Carrey however showed another facet of his talent of actor in impressed films of a greater gravity, like Majestic .

It is the film The Mask which gave him an immense popularity in France (and led the distributers to start again there Ace Ventura ). This film indeed constitutes a homage to the processes comic and visual of Tex Avery, in which the style of the actor (in particular his visual plasticity, reinforced here by the Synthesized images) is moulded perfectly.

Jim Carrey acknowledges himself against the continuations. Thus, it does not take part in the Fils of the Mask (the continuation of The Mask ), with Dumb & Dumberer (the continuation of Dumb & Dumber ), Evan the Almighty (the continuation of Bruce the Almighty ), nor with Ace Ventura 3 centered on his/her son.

During the turning of Insane of Irene ( Me, Myself and Irene ), it maintains a relation with Renee Zellweger, then with Betine Holte, mannequin.
