Jim Capaldi

Jim Capaldi (August 2nd 1944 with Evesham - January 28th 2005 with London), Nicolas James Capaldi of his true name, is a British musician , in particular member of the group of Rock Traffic .

Jim Capaldi practices the Chant, the battery and the Piano. He is even sound engineer before starting his professional musical career. He takes part in the sometimes transitory existence of some small groups ( The Hellions in particular, which will become Deep Feeling ) before joining Steve Winwood to found the group Traffic (ten albums between 1967 and 1974).

Jim records its first album solo in 1972 and begins one second career after separation from Traffic in 1974. He was introduced in the “Rock' Roll Hall off Famed” in 2004.
