Jeph Loeb

Joseph " Jeph" Loeb III is an American scenario writer cartoons, films and televised series.

Whereas he worked on a script of Flash for Warner Brothers, project which was born never, Loeb met Jenette Kahn which required of him to write comics for cd.

The result was Challengers off the Unknown vol. 2 #1 - #8 (Mars - October 1991). The mini-series also put in scene appearances of Doctor Fate (Eric and Linda Strauss), Batman, James Gordon, Guy Gardner and Loïs Lane. And especially, it was the first of long series of collaborations with Tim Sale.

The duet exploded in the medium of the comics in 1997 with Batman: A Length Halloween .

Loeb will write many comics put in scene characters like Daredevil, Hulk, Superman, Batman, Catwoman, Spider-Man.

It also scénarisé the mini-series Witching Hour ( the Hour of the Witches in VF), drawn by Chris Bachalo and published by Vertigo.

These last years he worked for cd. Comics on Superman with the draftsman ED McGuinness, launched the series Superman/Batman in which the news Supergirl appeared, which it as was entitled to its own title as he scénarise with Ian Churchill with the drawings. He also scénarisé the saga " Hush" (" Silence" in VF) in Batman 608-619, episodes drawn by Jim Lee, introducing a new adversary of Batman, Silence.

Its principal project is the resumption of the Ultimates at Marvel, after the end of the episodes of Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch with the draftsman Joe Madureira.

He worked also on the televised series Smallville and Lost and is currently Co Executive producer and scenario writer on Heroes .
