Jeffrey Grice

Jeffrey Grice was born with Christchurch in New Zealand. Graduate of the University of Auckland, it continues his studies of piano with Paris, thanks to a purse of the French government, and obtains the License in Concert of I' Teacher training school of Music in the class of Germaine Mounier. Then it meets Enrique Barenboim, auprès of which it spends one year to Israel. II also takes the advice of Charles Rosen and Florencia Raitzin.

Jeffrey Grice occurred under the direction of chiefs such Armin Jordan, Michiyoshi Inoue, Wolfgang Doerner, Victor Puhl… In Chamber music he was the partner of the Violoniste S Alexander Markoff and Alexander Tomescu, of the Flûtiste S Shigenori Kudo and Marya Martin, of the Violoncelliste Jean-Marie Trotereau (with which he has just recorded Guy Ropartz, Georges Migot and Debussy at Integral Classic), of the Pianiste Laurent Cabasso or of the singers like Mariá Bayo, Anne-Sofie von Otter, Sergueï Leiferkus… work The dancer leads the procession of Nigel Keay was written for Jeffrey Grice in 1999.

Jeffrey Grice recorded in Europe for Calliope, Erato and Integral Classic and in Japan for Sony Classical, Cosmo Village and JVC.

Residing in France since many years, Jeffrey Grice was appointed Officier of the Ordre of Arts and the Letters in 1999.
