Jean Rousselot
Jean Rousselot (October 27th 1913 with Poitiers - May 24th 2004 in the Yvelines) is a French writer, resulting from a working-class family.
Biography
Orphan, it must be satisfied short studies and earn his living as of the 15 years age. Civil servant, it resigns in 1946 to devote itself exclusively to the writing. Meanwhile: the War, the resistance, the meeting of the Friendly of Rochefort (Cadou, Béalu, Becker, Guillevic…). Its Masters in poetry name Paul Éluard, max Jacob, Pierre Reverdy… Operations manager of conferences by the Foreign affairs and the the Alliance Fran1caise, it travelled much. It chaired the Société of the Men of letters and he was member of the Académie Mallarmé. Grand Prix of the French Academy and the Town of Paris. Medal-holder of the Free French Army, Knight of the Legion of honor, Officer of the National order of the Merit, Commander of Arts and the Letters.
