Jean Raspail , is a writer, journalist and militant Royaliste French, born with Chemillé-on-Dême (Indre-et-Loire) the July 5th 1925.
Biography
Jean Raspail is a former member of the National council of the Parti the new forces (the NFP), where he was writer with national Initiative . He is since sympathizer of the royalist movement national Restauration. Jean Raspail is also general consul of the Royaume of Araucanie and Patagonie. He writes sometimes in Le Figaro .Its work headlight remains the Camp of the Saints , appeared in 1973, in which the writer described the immersion of France by the stranding on the Riviera of a fleet of boats in ruins from India, charged with refugees. Incapacity so much of the public authorities than of the population to be reacted vis-a-vis this invasion, peaceful, but fraught with consequences for our already old Civilization, Raspail drew a tragic joke with the prophetic accents. 30 years afterwards, it made of it a self-criticism noticed in Le Figaro .
A certain number of works also evoke Patagonie, through the assertion of the kingdom of Patagonie and Araucanie by Orélie-Antoine de Tounens, acknowledged of Périgueux, in second half of, very as much as in the evocation of the history and the tragic destiny of these areas of the end of the world. In 1984, the writer unloaded with the Minquiers to make there float the flag of the Kingdom of Patagonie.
