Jean Olié
Jean Olié (born the March 24th 1904 in France and deceased in 2003) was a Officier French Army and in particular the Foreign legion of 1924 with 1961.
Entered to the military special School in 1924, it leaves there Sous-lieutenant in 1926 (promotion of Rif).
Career
It then serves with the 4th foreign regiment and in the Goum S where it acquires a good knowledge of the Moslem businesses.
Second world war
In 1939, whereas it is used with the staff of the 14 {{E}} Division as Infantry, it is wounded and made captive. He escapes and manages to join the Morocco.In 1943, whereas it directs the 3rd office (office of the operations) of the I {{Re}} Armée, it prepares the unloadings of the isle of Elba and Provence. He becomes then chief of staff of the 5 {{E}} Armor-plated Division.
In 1944, it takes the command of the Régiment of walk of the Foreign legion for the end of the war.
It takes then more territorial functions of command, with capacity civil in North Africa.
In 1950, it reorganizes the Foreign legion by creating the operational Groupement of the Foreign legion.
It orders then the military special School and the Military academy interarmes of Saint-Cyr military school.
It is then named civil and military governor of large Kabylie, then the army corps of Constantine.
In 1960, it is named chief of particular staff of the president of the Republic, then general secretary of National defense in 1961.
In 1961, the July 31st, it gives its resignation.
