Jean Nouvel
Jean Nouvel (born the August 12th 1945 with Fumel, Lot-et-Garonne, France) is a Architecte French.
Biography
He wants to be a painter, but is registered in 1964 at the School of the Art schools of Bordeaux in architecture. In 1966, it is allowed first with the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the fine arts of Paris.After having worked at Claude Parent, the father of the “oblique function”, and in the intellectual mobility of the architect Paul Virilio, it founds in 1970 its first agency with François Seigneur.
New its diploma for the occupation of architect DPLG in 1971 obtains and meets the critic Georges Boudaille thanks to which he becomes architect of Biennial of Paris. It then practices scenography in particular for the section structures and design of the exposure the Fifties to the Center Pompidou in 1988, and more recently that of the exposure the Future of work and Mobility for the Expo 2000 to Hanover.
In 1976, it meets the scenographer Jacques Marquet which makes him discover the theater world and the setting in scene.
Jean Nouvel always posted militant, even polemical standpoint as for the problems and decisions concerning architecture and the city.
Jean Nouvel is cofounder of the movement of French architect March 1976 , of the Trade union of Architecture, and one of the principal organizers of the international consultation for the installation of the district of the Halles of Paris. In 1980 it founds the Biennial one of architecture within the framework of Biennial of Paris.
After the Institute of the Arab world and after its project for the refitting of the Markets in 2004 was isolated, the Musée of the quay Branly inaugurated the June 23rd 2006 in Paris east its last prestigious realization in the French capital.
Beginning 2006, the Swiss company Nestlé, directed by Nelly Wenger, presents its new line of chocolate packing for the products of the mark Cailler, drawn by Jean Nouvel. The Swiss population, accustomed to traditional paper packing, very badly accommodates new packing out of plastic, considered to be not very ecological and, very luxurious of appearance, not very in conformity with the awaited traditional image of the product. The Denner retailer creates the event while refusing to sell the new chocolates and by showing the company to sell them expensive than front. End 2006, the Nestlé company announces the abandonment of Jean Nouvel packing.

- 2002: Launching of the project of the future Guggenheim museum located at Rio-of-Janeiro at Brazil: it will be the sixth of the Guggenheim foundation after those of Berlin, Venice, Bilbao, New York and Las Vegas.
- April 2007: Jean Nouvel, associated with Marshall Day Acoustics Ltd , gains the contest for the Philharmonie of Paris, new, capacity concert hall of 2.400 places, which will be located close to the Cité of the Music from the Villette in Paris and whose opening is envisaged in 2012.
- at the end of 2007: A Watery Center (fine of work envisaged in 2009), as for the project of a Center of the Sea and Sustainable development whose tower would culminate with 120 meters it had been accepted but it will be deferred. Le Havre, France.
