Jean Meyer (1914 - 2003) was a man of French theater, director and realizer of cinema. He was member of the Comédie-Française. He was the artistic Director of the Center of Dramatic art of the street Blanche (to the 21 of this street!?)Center which was transferred to Lyon in 1997

For the cinema it carried out the Middle-class man gentleman (1958) and the Marriage of Barber (1959); as actor it played, inter alia, in Between eleven hours and midnight of Henri Decoin. It realized inter alia five parts with the actress Claude Jade with the Theater of Célestins to Lyon.

Jean Meyer put in scene the creation of " the City whose Prince is a enfant" of Henri de Montherlant to the Michel Theater which it directed in 1967, with Paul Guers in the role of Prats and Didier Haudepin in that of Separated. Jean Deschamps for its part created the role of the Superior.
