Jean IV of Rieux

Jean IV of Rieux (June 27th 1447February 9th 1518), was noble Breton, wire of Jean III of Rieux and Béatrice de Rohan-Montauban (towards 1385 ✝ before 1414), lady of Gacilly, girl of Guillaume de Montauban, lord of Montauban and Landal.

It had as titles: 18 {{E}} lord of Rieux, baron de Malestroit and of Ancenis, Lord of Cranhac, of Rochefort, count d' Aumale, count d' Harcourt (in Normandy), Viscount of Donges, lord of Couëron, Largoët, of Châteaugiron, of Derval, the Suspension brace and 13 {{E}} lord of Red, Regent and Marshal of Brittany, Lieutenant-general of the King in Brittany,

He marries Isabelle de Brosse (dead in 1527), girl of Jean II of Brush, count de Penthièvre.

In 1488, it orders the Breton army with the Bataille of Saint-Aubin-of-Cormier the against the king of France Charles VIII.
