Jean Filliol
Jean Filliol (1909 -?), French nationalist militant and member of the Hood.
Biography
Militant of the French Action, (it directed the 17th team of the Camelots of the King), it is very active during the manifestation of the Leagues, the February 6th 1934 with Paris.
Following this event, it founds with the engineer Eugene Deloncle, the Hood or Secret Comité of Revolutionary Action (C.S.A.R.), a group of Extreme-right-hand side which starting from 1935 is directed in increasingly violent actions with an aim of reversing the republican mode. February 13rd, 1936, it tries to carry a blow of bayonet to Leon Blum. In 1937 it takes part in the assassination of the brothers Carlo and Nello Rosselli with Motor-in-the Orne for the account of Mussolini and takes refuge in 1937 in Italy then in Spain.
In 1941, it returns to France and joined the executive team of the revolutionary Social movement of Deloncle where it is in load of the information. May 14th, 1942, it organizes a " putsch" for évincer Deloncle. But Laval, scalded since the attempted murder of which it was victim on behalf of Collette in August 1941, sees in him an assassin in power and the fact of stopping in November 1942.
Joseph Darnand, Secretary of State to the maintenance of law and order and chief of the Militia, the fact of releasing at the beginning of 1944 and assigns it to the Franc-guard of the Militia in the Limousin, in load, still, of the information. It is for this reason that he becomes the key character of the tragedy of Oradour-on-Glane because it is him which indicates the name of this village to the Germans like lodging a maquis.
Jean Filliol, taken refuge in Spain, is condemned by contumacy to the capital punishment. He works for the Spanish branch of L'Oreal.
For the historian Robert O. Paxton, it is obvious (without it not bringing any proof from there) but Jean Filliol belongs to these marginal French who " émargé at the secret bottoms of the Germany and Italy at the end of the years 30" ( France of Vichy, 1940-1944 ).
