Jean Deudon
Jean Deudon (death in 1991) was a French Alpiniste and speleologist (cofounder and president of the Spéléo-club of Paris).
The mountaineer
Qualified “rock climber except par”, Jean Deudon became member of the Groupe of high mountain (celebrates it GHM) some 18 years age.Jean Deudon is member of famous the Groupe of Bleau, seedbed of the Parisian mountaineers.
Jean Deudon is one of the 10 members of the first French forwarding in the Himalayas, in the Karakoram, at the sides of Pierre Allain, Jean Arlaud, Jacques Azémar, Jean Carle, Jean Charignon, Marcel Ichac, Raymond Leininger, Henry de Ségogne, etc
The speleologist
Jean Deudon is founding member of the Spéléo-club of Paris in January 1936.In 1949, it takes part again in an exploration with the Gouffre of Padirac under the direction of Robert of Jolly with Guy de Lavaur, Felix Trombe, Jacques Ertaud, Doctor Clamagirand, Jonquières and Bernard Pierre. In 1948 and 1951 Jean Deudon is foreman of point in the exploration of the Gouffre of Padirac.
In the years 1950, Jean Deudon takes part, with other speleologists, with the first recognitions and explorations of the solid mass of Marguareis which will lead to the exploration of the pit Gaché (name of his/her friend of the Groupe of Bleau Raymond Gaché).
In 1957, he is president of the Spéléo-club of Paris.
