Jean Chalopin (political)

Jean Chalopin is a French politician, born with Saint-Claude (the Jura) the August 7th 1920.

He was member of the Union for the new Republic then of the Union of the democrats for the Republic.

Doctor of profession, it was regularly elected as substitute for the deputy of the Second district of Maine-et-Loire, Jean Foyer. He sat twice at the National Assembly following the nominations of Jean Foyer with the governments of Georges Pompidou in 1962 and of Pierre Messmer in 1972.
