Jean-Pierre Debarbat

Jean-Pierre Debarbat is a Saxophoniste of Jazz, Leader, Compositeur and French artistic director born the May 4th 1952.

Biography

Graduate of the National school of cinema Louis Light, option his, price Boris Vian of the academy of the jazz 1983 with Of Luxury .

As from 1976, with Pierre Raterron, plastics technician and professor of the Art schools, in a graphico-sound step, it carries out 4 albums concept for RCA, of which Live in Olympia , and of the spectacles with Debarbat Dolphin Orchestra.

In 1986, he undertakes the development of the MAO and visual VAO, music and computer-assisted Live and Studio , and creates his personal studio of musical creation and graph of which he will not cease developing the tool.

In 1989, the National center of art and culture Georges-Pompidou invites it to carry out One Man Band in their digital studio, step of exploration and development of the contemporary musical expression and amplified current music.

Following its meeting in 1990 with Fabienne Thibeault, they record together in 1993 the album On my way: The sax and the voice with New York with the musicians of Miles Davis and leave in round.

In 1997, it realizes in quintet Starmania Jazz , taking again the broad topics of Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon.
