Jean-Pierre Allain

Jean-Pierre Allain is a French doctor, implied in the Affaire of blood contaminated.

Former managing director of health, former chief of the department of research of the CNTS (National center of blood transfusion), Jean-Pierre Allain was with the CNTS associates it D Michel Garretta.

Accused the October 21st 1991 in company of Michel Garretta, person in charge of the National center of blood transfusion, Jacques Red-headed, then managing director of health and Robert Netter, chief of the National laboratory of health, it is condemned one year later, in 1992, by the magistrates' court of Paris, is confirmed then by the Court of Appeal of Paris in July 1993 for " tromperie" on the quality of the products distributed by the CNTS, at four years of prison including two with deferment, while D Garretta was condemned to four years of imprisonment without remission.

If it yielded with the choices imposed by Dr. Garretta, Jean-Pierre Allain was conscious of their implications: he did not distribute to his private patients the same products as those which could contaminate hemophiliacs.
