Jean-Gustave Courcelle-Seneuil

Jean-Gustave Courcelle-Seneuil , born with Seneuil, hamlet of the commune of Vanxains in the Dordogne, the December 22nd 1813 and died in Paris the June 29th 1892, is a economist French of the liberal school.

It makes its studies with the royal college of Poitiers, then it continues studies of right to Paris and becomes lawyer in 1835. It launches out then in the businesses to the Dordogne, then returns to Paris, where he is editor association of the Journal of the economists . After the Coup d'etat of December 2nd, 1851, it goes in Latin America, where he is political professor of economy at the university of Santiago of Chile of 1852 with 1862 and where he is consulting minsitère Finances. It turns over to France in 1863. Named To advise State in 1879, it is political university lecturer of economy to the National university of Paris of 1881 with 1883. He is elected member of the Academy of Science morals and political in 1882.

Its Manuel of the businesses , whose first edition goes back to 1855, is regarded as the first practical treaty of business management.
