Jean-Claude Chamboredon
Jean-Claude Chamboredon is a French sociologist. He was initially a collaborator close relation of Pierre Bourdieu of which he will distanciera himself thereafter like his colleague Luc Boltanski. With Jean-Claude Passeron and Bourdieu, he wrote a methodological work of reference ( the Trade of sociologist , 1967) still republished today.
In addition to its various work, Chamboredon translated traditional Socio-linguistics entitled Langage and social classes of Basil Bernstein (Éditions of Midnight, 1956).
