Jean-Baptiste of Austria

Jean-Baptiste of Austria (January 20th 1782 with Florence † May 11th 1859 with Graz) 13th wire of the emperor Léopold II and of Marie-Louise de Bourbon, infante of Spain, brother of the emperor François II.

Jean-Baptiste of Austria morganatiquement married in 1827 Anne Plochl, countess of Méran.

A child is resulting from this union:

• François-Louis de Méran

By marrying Anne de Plochl, Jean-Baptiste of Habsbourg-Lorraine created a new branch of the dynasty of the Habsbourg-Lorraine that of the counts de Méran.
