Jacques Maroselli

Jacques Maroselli , born the April 12th 1921 with Luxeuil-the-Baths (Haute-Saône), is a French politician.

Wire of Andre Maroselli, appointed radical socialist of Haute-Saône, and minister on several occasions since 1947, Jacques Maroselli will begin his political career as principal private secretary of his father when this one was then Minister for the public health and the population in the Gouvernement of Pierre Pflimlin (1958).

Member of the Left radical socialist, J.Maroselli presents himself, at the time of the legislative elections of 1962, under the label Union of the Republicans in the second district of Haute-Saône, where his/her father had been beaten four years earlier, but it misses its election of some voices . The legislative elections of 1967 will enable him to repeat and be elected to the second turn in the same district but under the label, this time, of FGDS. Nevertheless, the dissolution of June 1968 will be fatal for him since it will be beaten and will represent itself never again with any legislative election.

With the death of his/her father, in 1970, Jacques Maroselli seize the town hall of its birthplace, Luxeuil-the-Baths, of which he will be mayor in a discontinuous way between 1970 and 1989.

Meanwhile, Jacques Maroselli is elected member of the national office of the Parti radical socialist the September 28th 1963. He will be re-elected in 1966 then in 1968. In January 1966, it will be even indicated President of and general economy, committee of supply the Plan within the party.

Jacques Maroselli belongs to the left wing of the Parti radical socialist and it is thus quite naturally that it joined the Mouvement of the radical lefts at the time of his foundation in 1972. It quickly will exert internal functions there since it is named, in January 1974, National secretary with the relations with the elected officials . It will become, in 1976, Vice-Président of MRG in which, it is figure among the close relations of Robert Fabre.

Jacques Maroselli will be in addition founding member, in 1964, of the political club the republican Atelier of which he will become also the President. He will militate largely in favor of a union of the left and will join even the Convention of the republican institutions of which he becomes member of the presidium in 1967.
