Jacques Lanzmann , born the May 4th 1927 with Wood-Doves and deceased the June 21st 2006 with Paris, was an author, scenario writer and lyric writer French.
Biography
Jacques Lanzmann was wire of Jewish immigrants of Eastern Europe working in the clothes industry.
In 1939, his/her father entrusted it to owners as farmhand, in Auvergne. In 1943, it entered with his Claude brother resistance. Stopped in Aix, it was very close being shot but escaped. It will draw from these years of the novels such Which Lives! (1965) or Jacquiot (1986).

He was very attached to the area Auvergne, and in particular the Mount-Mouchet (Haute-Loire).
He Maria 4 times and had in all 7 children. He was the brother of Claude Lanzmann, author of Shoah (film) .
Literature
After having practiced many trades, as welder, house painter, painter (1948-1955) or minor in Chile (1952-1953), it enter in literature in 1954 with the ice is broken .
