Jacques Diouf

The doctor Jacques Diouf is the managing director of the United Nations for the food and agriculture (FAO). He was Minister for the scientific research to the Senegal under the presidency of Abdou Diouf. He was also general secretary of the BCEAO for 8 months and managing director of the AGRAO.

September 13rd, 2006 S it launched a call in favor of a “second Green revolution” which would make it possible to nourish an increasing world population while preserving the natural resources and the environment.
