Jacques Auriac
Jacques Auriac , born the March 3rd 1922 with Paris and deceased with Saint-Jean-the-Thomas the September 10th 2003, is a painter, poster artist and Graphiste French.
Biography
In 1937, it visits the World Fair of Paris where the “Pavillion of publicity” starts its vocation. He studies with the school of the fine arts of Bourges (1940 - 1941) then to the school of the fine arts of Paris (1941 - 1943). He takes part in the Living room of the imagery in 1946 and in the Living room of the company of the artists decorators in 1948. He meets then the printer and publisher of posters Guy of Vasselais with which he will collaborate. Jacques Auriac becomes then president of the national union of the graphic designers then sign the art of the poster to the University of graphic arts (ESAG) of 1981 with 1995. In 1997 it leaves to settle with Saint-Jean-the-Thomas in the Manche.

Collective exposures
In France it exposes to the Musée of decorative Arts, with the National library, the Musée of the poster and the Bibliothèque Fornet. It will also expose to Moscow, Stockholm, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Dresden and Essen.
