Jacobs Field

The Jacobs Field (called The Jake ) is a stage of Baseball located in the Gateway Sports and Entertainment Complex, beside the Quicken Loans Arena in the center of Cleveland, in the Ohio.

Since 1994, its tenants are the Indians of Cleveland, a team of Baseball evolving/moving in MLB in the American Ligue and which played before Cleveland Municipal Stadium. Its capacity is of 43.345 places.

History

A word can describe the Jacobs Field , beautiful. The spectators of Cleveland deserved something of splendid years to afterwards assist matches with decayed the Cleveland Municipal Stadium. In 2007, the Indians of Cleveland opened the Heritage Park, a monument located in a small section behind the wall of the central field (Center Field Wall), and honouring the history with Indians with Cleveland Indians Hall off Famed, the 100 Indian Roster (100 larger players of the history of the team), Memories off The Indians, and a commemorative plaque of legendary the Ray Chapman.

Description

The Jake is composed of three lines of platforms which extend around the playing field and of excellent panoramas on the horizon of the district of the businesses of Cleveland can be seen of several place of the stage.
