Jacobins

the district of the Jacobins is a district of the city of the Mans. It is composed of several places: a quincunx allowing either the motorists to park itself in very great number, or with cultural events important to be posed there. Two other great places compose the place, of which one comprises the staircase of the water jet reaching the hurdy-gurdy city. The Jacobins in addition offer a unspoilable view on the cathedral, just as on the municipal Théâtre, the Legal Cité, the Palais of the Counts of Maine and is located near the Musée of Tessé. This district also contains a public lycée: the College Montesquieu.

The district offers the automobile artery of the city: The tunnel of Mans (founded in the old city), bringing center town to the edges of the Sarthe and defect and poured. The Jacobins are relatively close to the stage Leon-Bowlful and touch directly the districts Bellevue and Bollée. Historically, the quincunxes of the Jacobins transfer bloody combat which decimated the Vendéens at the time of great terror .
