J-five

Jonathan Kovacs , known under the name of J-five , is a American Chanteur , born in 1982 with Hollywood (California).

Biography

J-Five is born on March 26th 1982 from a father of French origin and from a mother of Austrian origin . Its childhood is rythmée by the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, but it is then also interested in the music of has Tribe Called Quest, Nas and of the Wu Tang Clan.

At the time of its first tournaments of rap, it chooses the pseudonym of J-Five, or Johnny 5, like the small robot of its preferred film, Short Circuit . Whereas it continues its studies with the college North Hollywood High School of Los Angeles, it occurs in concert with its group, the Dusty White . Its music evolves/moves between rock'n'roll, Grunge and rep.

In 2004, J-Five begins its career in solo with individual the Modern times , based on a sample of the original soundtrack of the film Modern times , of Charlie Chaplin. The clip, putting in scene the preview of film in 1936, sees the participation of the little girl of the scenario writer, Dolores Chaplin.

In France, the title makes it possible J-Five to seize the first place of the Top 50 (33e better sale the individual ones in 2004), and to obtain a money disc. The title Find has Way , published six months later, does not know that a success of regard, while the album Sweet Little Nothing leaves in a relative indifference.
