Ivan Cloulas

Ivan Cloulas is a historian and French writer, specialist in the history of the Renaissance, born the December 26th 1932 with Saint-Junien (High-Vienna).

Biography

Ivan Cloulas made its studies in Saint-Junien, then in Limoges and Paris, the college Henri IV, the National school of the charters and the Faculty of Arts. He is arts doctor (history).

Palaeographer of formation and member of the French School of Rome (1957-1959), it was preserving with the Public records, member of the Casa of Velázquez, director of the Departmental records of the Eure (1968-1972), responsible for the data processing department to the Public records (1972-1985), conservative as an old section head of the Public records (1985) and preserving general of the inheritance ((1990-1999).

Distinctions

He is knight of the Légion of honor, officer in the National order of the merit and commander of Arts and letters.
