Issaries Inc.

Issaries Inc. is a publisher of roleplays founded by Greg Stafford in order to be able to develop the world of Glorantha.

Greg Stafford started to work on Glorantha in 1966, and that led to the exit of the roleplay RuneQuest in 1978 by Chaosium. Eager to improve the range and to increase the diffusion, Greg Stafford yielded the rights to a more important editor, Avalon Hill. However, the range stagnated, and Greg Stafford decided to leave the rights of RuneQuest to Avalon Hill and to publish a new handset on Glorantha.

However, Chaosium did not wish to leave play, Greg Stafford again thus decided to found a new publisher, Issaries. After some financial vexations with its lawyer, it founded the Glorantha Trading Company in order to collect funds by gifts, which allowed him to conclude its project.
