International festival of Edinburgh

The International festival of Edinburgh is largest Festival in the world, with a frequentation of more than one million people over three weeks, each year since 2003.

This festival proceeds annually since 1947. During the 3 last weeks of August, musical productions, plays, choreographies follow one another, in the streets or the rooms. The city is then black of world. At the same period, the esplanade of the Château of Edinburgh accommodates the Edinburgh Military Tattoo , large military parade with Kilt S, Cornemuse S and drums. Other festivals proceed in parallel of the International festival of Edinburgh: the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (festival off), the International festival of Film, the fair with the books, the jazz festival…
