International airport of the Cape

The international airport of Cape Town (code IATA: CPT, code ICAO: FACT) is the airport of the city of the Cape in South Africa. It is the larger second Aéroport of the country after that of Johannesburg and the larger third in Africa. Until the middle of the Nineties, it bore the name of DF Malan Airport according to the former South-African Prime Minister (and promoter of the policy of Apartheid) Daniel François Malan.

The airport is used as hub with the national company South African Airways and several international companies ensure it of liaions regular of which Lufthansa, KLM or Swiss. The French company Air France does not ensure of connection on this airport, privileging a direct connection Paris - Johannesburg.
