International Association off Botanical gardens

The International Association off Botanical gardens (IABG) (or International association of the botanical gardens ) in 1954 was founded and is affiliated with the International Union off Biological Sciences (IUBS) like a commission of the International Association off Botanical and Mycological Societies (IABMS).

The goals of the IABG are:

  • the promotion of the international cooperation between similar botanical gardens, Arboretum S and institutions of which the goal is the conservation of the alive plants.
  • the promotion of the taxinomic study of the plants.
  • the promotion of the diffusion of information and specimens between the similar botanical gardens and institutions.
  • the promotion of the conservation of the species thanks to the culture.
  • the promotion of the introduction of useful species.
  • the promotion of the conservation of the habitat S.
  • And, finally, the promotion of the horticulture like leisures and science.
