Internal combustion engine

The driving with Combustion intern is a machine where the thermal energy released by combustion is transformed into mechanical driving energy directly inside the engine, in opposition to the Combustion engine external or energy is transported by a coolant outside this one, as in a unit Chaudière, Steam turbine or Stirling engine.

There exist two great types of internal combustion engines:

  • Gas turbine.

    • Driving Aeropulse and with pulsated detonation waves
  • Anaerobic S (use of a Combustive embarked)
