Inspiration Software

Inspiration Software, Inc. is a company étasunienne which develops and publishes a Logiciel visual training for the Enseignant S, the student S and the professionals named Inspiration . The visual training is the use of graphic organizers such as diagrams, diagrams or networks of concepts to visually represent ideas like their relations. Scientific research shows clearly that the visual training is one of the most effective methods of teaching to show the pupils of all ages how to improve their skills of reflection, memorizing and drafting.

History

Inspiration Software was founded in 198 2 by Donald Helfgott and Mona Westhaver. Originally centered on the needs for the business world, the first product was a software helping the analysts to create products for the field of the businesses. Thereafter, the company developed the model Tandy 100 , one of the first laptops, used by the teams of sale on the ground, by the writers and the editors.

In 1987, the company concentrated on the development of tools of organization, reflection and brainstorming. The first version of the software Inspiration was launched for the Mac in 1988. Thereafter, of the versions for Windows, the important updates and a version in Japanese was developed on the two platforms.

The year 1996 brought a great change, namely the development of the software Inspiratio for the specific needs in the world of education in order to answer waitings of the teachers and the students. The Éducation version of Inspiration 5 was launched in 1997 and was for the primary education level. Then to extend the visual training to the more young children, the Kidspiration software was launched in 2001.

New versions followed with the launching of version 7 of Inspiration in 2002 and version 2 of Kidspiration in 2004. A version adapted for Palm was born in 2004. The same year, the software was translated into language French E. In 2005, versions 7.6 of Inspiration and 2.1 of Kidspiration were developed to integrate new emergent functionalities in the field of education in particular interactive white tables, the Tablet PC and Pocket PC. In February 2006, version 8 (in English language) was marketing. Version 8 in French language left in September 2007. Version 8 enriches the traditional modes by organization of the ideas in plan and diagrams, by mental a chart mode (mind map) used as basic mode by other software of the same family. Inspiration Software 8 facilitates the search for symbols using key words and has a library of thousands of new symbols. School research is made easier by type handling of slip-deposit. The options of transfer and export to other software are improved.
