Iestyn Harris

Iestyn Rhys Harris is Welsh player of Rugby to the XIII, born June 25th 1976 with Oldham (England). It is a former player of Rugby to XV which played with the Équipe of Wales of Rugby with XV of 2001 with 2004, evolving/moving at the station of three quarter centers (1,78  m for 87  kg).

Career

Harris is English of birth, but it could play for Wales because his/her father is Welsh.

He began his career while playing Rugby with XIII with the club of the Warrington Wolves. In 1997, it signs for the Leeds Rhinos where it becomes a player of world class there.

In 2001, it was transferred to the Cardiff Blues, club of Rugby to XV, carrying the hopes of many Welsh supporters which hoped that with its contribution their nation would find a team of foreground.

It disputed its first test match the November 10th 2001, against the team of Argentina.

Harris took part in the world cup 2003 (4 matches, demolished in quarterfinals).

It left Rugby with XV in 2004, for rejouer with the club treizist of the Bradford bulldozers which it helps to gain the title in 2005.

May 10th, 2006, it decides to stop its international career with Great Britain (15 selections), but it wishes all the same to play the World cup 2008 with the Wales.
