Ier Lambert of Nantes
Ier Lambert of Nantes count de Nantes before 818 with 831, marquis de Bretagne of 818 with 834, duke of Spolète 834 - 836.
Count de Nantes and Préfet of the Walk of Brittany. it succeeds in these functions his father Guy before 818.
Lambert takes part in 818 in the forwarding carried out by Louis the Piles against Morvan Lez-Breizh which had proclaimed king of the Breton ones. After the rebellion in 822 of the new Breton chief Wiomarc' H, he is the instigator in 825 murder of this last which had however subjected in person in May of the same year to Aachen.
At the time of the rebellion of the oldest son of the emperor Louis the Piles, it takes the party of Lothaire I {{er}} and is exiled at the beginning of 831 with this last in Italy where he becomes duke of Spolète. He dies during the epidemic of 836 which makes devastations in the franque nobility.
Lambert Ier leaves several children of an unknown wife:

- Garnier, killed in 852
- Dove, abbess of Craon.
