Ibn Bassam

Ibn Bassam (Ibn Bassam Al-Shantarini), poet and Andalusian historian born with Santarém died in 1147, probably at the time of the catch of the city by Portuguese king D. Afonso Henriques. It is famous for its anthology " Dhakhira fî mahâsin ahl Al-Gazira " (Dhakhira signfie Treasure) one of the most important literary and cultural history information sources of Al-Andalus, it is frequently quoted like source in several historical and literary articles.
