Hydroclastie

The Hydroclastie is the fragmentation caused by the variations of content of Eau in the rocks or the mineral by phenomena alternating dissection/moistening. The water which penetrates in the least faults of the rock makes inflate minerals able to absorb it, such clays, the volume of these minerals will vary according to the degree Hygrométrique between the phases of strong absorption in rain season and of drying in dry periods. The internal tensions related to these variations of volume will involve fragmentation in Squames or films, of the rock the such Schistes.
