Howie Morenz

Howarth Howie Morenz also called the meteor Mitchell (September 21st 1902 with Mitchell, Ontario - March 8th 1937 with Montreal, Quebec) was a professional player of Hockey in the National league of hockey. He especially played for the Canadian of Montreal of 1923 with 1934, for the Blackhawks of Chicago in 1934-1935, for the Rangers of New York in 1935-1936 then again for Montreal in 1936-1937.

Howie Morenz gained with three recoveries the Trophée Binder, decreed with the most useful player of the league. In addition to gaining two championships of the markers. He was officially elected the best player of first half of the century.

Its number 7 was the first pullover of the history of the Canadian of Montreal and hockey to being withdrawn.

Howie Morenz is buried with the Mount-Royal Cimetière with Montreal.
