Hollow block
Hollow element of Masonry (also called case-bay ) made up of Concrete, terra cotta of Polystyrene (allows an insulation and an installation with more lightness), or more recently of Bois agglomerated (allowing work in difficult to reach places). the hollow blocks are placed between two Solive S carrying, part constituting with the Poutrelle S a floor concrete. It furnishes a Colombage, a reinforcement in wood sides.
The hollow blocks polystyrene are sold in length and width standards. This material can be cut out for the adjustment.
There exist two types of hollow block concrete:
-
the opened hollow blocks, which exist in several dimensions (in particular in height)
-
the closed hollow blocks, which comprise a fine wall closing the hollow block on a side. That in particular makes it possible to prevent that the concrete does not enter the floor.
