Holguín is a club of Baseball evolving/moving in the first division of the Championnat of Cuba of baseball. It was founded in 1977. Located in the province of Holguín, the club was always a poor team, but succeeded in gaining the championship in 2002. Its players are called Sabuesos (I.e.: Gun dogs ) or pejoratively Cachorros ( Pups ).
