Hockey Limoges Club

The Taureaux of fire of Limoges is a club French of evolving/moving Hockey this season in Division 1. The official name of the club is Hockey Club of Limoges .

History

The club is founded in 1969 after the Winter Olympics of 1968 with Grenoble under the impulse of Jean Berthier and it is necessary to wait ten years to see the team reaching the division 2 of the French championship. But the club is not authorized to assemble division, because of its skating rink which is not to the standards. The direction of the club then decides to build a new skating rink to replace the old skating rink. The Municipal Patinoire of the half-cases is inaugurated in 1982 and at the end of the season, Limoges joined finally division 2 then nearly twenty years later, the team reaches the first division finally.

The best season of the club is the season 2002-03 with a qualification for the eliminatory series.
