Fredrik Hjalmar Johansen , born the May 15th 1867 with Skien and dead the January 9th 1913, was a polar explorer Norwegian.

He belongs to 1893 to 1896 of the forwarding of Fridtjof Nansen on board the Fram during which the two men tried to join with ski the North pole. Member in 1910 of the forwarding of Roald Amundsen in the Antarctic, it quarrels with this last in connection with the departure by too anticipated for the South pole, which led forwarding to make half-turn, and is not retained among the men who will belong to the second attempt, which will be this victorious time. The continuations of these events pushed it to commit suicide with the beginning of the year 1913.
