Hisamasa Asai

Azai Hisamasa (浅井久政 Asai Hisamasa ) (1524 - September 23rd 1573) was the son of Sukemasa Asai and the second chief of the Clan Asai, a clan of the medieval Japan.

Hisamasa took the head of the clan in 1542, after the death of his/her father. With the opposite of his father it was not large a Daimyo . It lost fields vis-a-vis the Clan Rokkaku and placed the clan like vassal of the Rokkaku clan.

Hisamas was made Seppuku in 1573 in the castle of Odani whereas it was besieged by the forces of Nobunaga Oda.
